As much as I would love it, I don't think Saturday's score is going to be very nice. It could be a real thumping, but then saying that, everyone will be destroyed by Billericay.
If it's worth anything Mr Walker, I enjoy reading what you post on here. There always seems passion, pride and love for something we all have affection for when you speak your mind.

I don't think next weeks game will bear much fruit, Billericay away, but after that maybe see some points and hopefully Worthing will continue there dire start.

Should we not be worried now. Sevens games in and no win, with Dorking, Thurrock and Brightlingsea all managing to win twice. It's only the fact Worthing are having a dodgey spell otherwise we would be bottom and rock bottom at that. Any expectations of playoff places are defiantly gone now.

This being my first game of the season, I was looking forward to it and thought a win was possible. It soon became evident that it would not be the case. Even before the first goal went in you could see we were not up to it against a team that there was nothing special about them, but they did the basic right. Alarm bells were ringing early on, the passing was poor and we just couldn't keep the ball. The sending off was a surprise when the red card was shown and despite a bit of a fight after the second goal ended it. From then on it was all one way and made for a depressing last twenty minutes. The goal keeper had a shocker of a game, but to be fair to him it was the first time to my knowledge he has been guilty of such offence. We lacked any punch up front and I have to agree that Billy Dunn didn't look interested or know where to play. I thing it is pretty obvious that a top ten finish is wishful thinking unless changes are made.

Seeing the leaders Harrow Borough who until yesterday were unbeaten with a perfect start of four wins from four games getting beat 6-0 was bit of a surprise as well.

I would take any finishing place above the bottom spot, I don't expect an awful lot, but then I wasn't expecting much last year so let's just hope we are pleasantly surprised again.

I feel exhausted just watching it, but what a goal, what a sub and what celebrations. The ref was dodgey, but a very satisfying game. Please don't lose 5-0 and we have done it.

It sounds like a carbon copy of the Greenwich Borough game. I have to admit I was fearing this game and was expecting a nasty defeat. Then when it flashed up a red card and down to ten men on the rymans vidi printer, I really thought we were doomed. But to my surprise we scored and held on.
What a terrific result and by the sounds of things a truly excellent display.
Very well done to team and management, what a transformation it has been and it all starting after a nasty Tuesday midweek game against Chatham Town.

Indeed a very well done to Sutton United and hopefully further success against Leeds. It is a bit unfair to say Sutton are more league than non-league having only got promotion last season. Lincoln are far more like a league 1/2 team than Sutton and therefore deserve more credit.

What a result that was, certainly not expected, I kept expecting the ryman site to show correction, got it the wrong way round.

It you have a roof rack, then there would be room upstairs. And if you haven't got one, but own a Volkswagen, then I could help you out with one at a discounted price.

Having read this I feel well and truly gutted and thoroughly pissed off, It's Monday morning, it dark and dingy, lost the last two games in injury time, don't feel very confident going into the next two games and now we lose our main striker.
Well there some light relief, Spurs lost

I didn't realise Tooting were playing until I scanned through the football for that evening, mind you I didn't realise the mighty Arsenal were playing that night either (What a thick hunt I hear you say). I know I blame a couple of hectic days at work. Well at the start it didn't look good, the terrors 1-0 down, the super gunners 2-0, o bulls I thought and had something to eat. But the night panned out beautifully with a 4-3 and 3-2 win and if the fourth goal was as good as Ozil's, then the night was complete, nothing could be better.
NO, wait Tottenham losing tonight would crown a loving mid week of football.

My self imposed exile will continue ( Well until we lose). I am now convinced that I am the jinx.
May the unbeaten run continue. Yesterday's score was disappointing, but look how much better the table looks compared to the same time the last four years.

That was the worst I've seen for sometime (and I did witness the Chatham thumping). They did not play as a team, some wanted to show off and failed miserably, and there is no one who score goals. Yes, if certain circumstances had gone our way such as there penalty decision, our penalty shout in the second half and the off side decision from the free kick in the first half, then it could have been all so different. East Preston wasn't brilliant, but they had more fight and desire and worked as a team. How we actually scored four goals in the first two games is a miracle. This was my first game of the season and I wished I hadn't have gone. On a bright note the midfield play looked reasonable, but when it got to near goal, they didn't have a clue. GOD HELP US!

It is definitely Dover in the promotion season with something like 1090 attendance, does the Stockport County game in the FA Cup count in 3066!

With regards to the falling attendances, other teams surrounding as that are in a higher league are offering better sweeteners. One of my work collegues is a Sutton United fan and has been going for some years is paying just £85 for his season ticket, they are in the conference premier. It certainly beats our tin pot ryman division one.

If you look on there forum, you will see just what they think of Mark hams and it seems they blame him for what will be relegation having taken on the team in mid-table and left them third from bottom and hoping on a reprieve through Farnborough being demoted two divisions.
