T&M v Lowestoft preview from their forum

Tooting and Mitcham (A) Following our 1-0 defeat at Dulwich, we return to the suburbs of South London on Saturday, when we visit Tooting and Mitcham. https://tmunited.org/History-NewBeginnings

Our two previous visits to Imperial Fields (KNK Stadium) have seen us return pointless. http://hoppysnaps.blogspot.co.uk/2012/04/tooting-mitcham-united.html
On both occasions Tooting have beaten us 2-1.

To date we have yet to record a victory over the Terrors.
The best we have ever managed was a 2-2 draw at the Meadow back in 2012.

It has been a difficult season for our hosts and it wasn't until October that they recorded their first league win, a 4-3 triumph over Worthing.

Since then their efforts have been as inconsistent as ours.
Latterly Leiston and Margate have inflicted defeats on them and like us they have recorded two wins in their last six games.

Whatever happens on Saturday there will be no repeat of one of our old boys, a la Rickie 'grab em by the throat' Hayles, coming back to haunt us.
I can't find a record of any player appearing for both clubs.

That said it will not be an easy outing and I expect Mike Dixon and Omar Folkes, who have eleven between them, to test our back line.

Again we will be short of the suspended Reed and Cole, but even without those key
names on the team sheet, I would expect us to record our first win in this corner of Morden.

See you all there. 👍
