Crawley Down Gatwick 0 Tooting and Mitcham United 4

Three goals in the first half which was dominated by Tooting finished off CDG.  Two more goals from the impressive Sol Pinnock did the damage.  We seemed to be playing 4-5-1 which really did work in the first half.  What seemed to make the difference though was the pairing of Anthony Bardon and Tyrone Berry in the central midfield.  The pair of then ran the game in the first half with some really crisp accurate passing and if they are both with us next season they could provide a productive midfield.  Bardon in particular never stops chasing: a bit like Jamie Byatt.

The second half showed us not as dominant and playing more sloppy.  Wilson-Dennis came of the bench to net near the end.

It was a nice way to finish the season.

Unfortunately our win on Saturday was not as spectacular as it may seem. CDG fielded 4 youth players, plus the Goalkeeping coach was in goal, and sadly the entire club were mourning the death of a player the day before in a car accident.
