An ideal Opportunity ( In jest! )

Shake up at Welling United, Jack Parkinson  player coach has been moved on, as Steve King the newly appointed  Manager will bring in his own staff. Welling nearly made the conference south play-offs after a dreadful start  to the season. Parkinson is an experienced player with lots on contacts, and wants to  become a manager. He would be an ideal fit for the team. But we know the ambitions at Imperial Fields are very limited, let's see who the club recruit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I await with anticipated amusement at the next appointment!

Re: An ideal Opportunity ( In jest! )

Jamie Lawrence is not in the same league as Jack Parkinson, If you look at the club's Jamie has been with, it has been a very slow decline in in fortunes and he's only managed to  Manage one club. Significantly King has taken his own backroom team to Welling which did not include Lawrence.

Jack Parkinson still a very capable player and still relatively young would be a good fit for him and the team. A player Manager, with recent National Conference Football behind him and lots of contacts  is just what  the team needs at this current level. I think with Lawrence they would be going up a blind alley again!
