Dear all,

This season is going to be challenging for T&MU FC on all fronts but a lot of the internal functions and vital revenue streams of the club cannot continue without willing volunteers to facilitate certain positions/functions.

So, PLEASE, consider ensuring the club can go forward in to the new season in good shape by considering how you can help in the following areas :

1)  MATCH SECRETARY(S) URGENTLY WANTED
This role has three main responsibilities;
1) Issuing match confirmations by e-mail to opposing teams and match officials (in the case of home fixtures) approx. 7-10 days ahead of each fixture and acknowledging match confirmations received (for away games)
2) Completion of teamsheet on match day in liaison with First Team Manager and ensuring all is in order for match officials on the day of the game (including making payment immediately after the game)
3) Completion of teamsheet after each game, transfer of information from the teamsheet to the Isthmian League website and submission of teamsheet to the league within two days of game.
Although this is a voluntary role, the job holder would of course receive free admission to all T&MUFC games they attend. While we appreciate that not everyone can commit to being present for every game, anyone who takes on this role would be expected to be present for the majority of First team games (home and away) and be there in time to ensure that teamsheets can be submitted 45/60 minutes before kick off (dependant upon competition)

PLEASE NOTE : This role could be filled by multiple persons so that the job load could be shared !

2) MATCH REPORT CORRESPONDENT REQUIRED FOR THE NON-LEAGUE PAPER
A short match report needs to be sent to the Non-League Paper after every home match on a Saturday afternoon. Ian Bullock has been fulfilling this role for many many seasons now but has decided to hang up his pen so we are looking for someone to write these match reports and transmit them to the Non League Paper for Saturday home games. 3)  CLUB SHOP/MERCHANDISING OPERATIVE(S)
As ever the club requires one or two persons to take on the responsibility of stocking, selling and storing club shop items and paraphernalia. Yes, we know that there are currently no permanent premises to base the shop in but a new shelter has been erected adjacent to the exterior of Function room and it is envisaged that the shop could operate from a table under the shelter. Again, this position need not be for just one person as the role can easily be shared by one, two or more persons.

4)  ASSISTANT TO THE PROGRAMME EDITOR
 Our Match Day Programme Editor, David Penn, is seeking a volunteer assistant to help him with the production of the programme for the coming season. The main requirements aside from enthusiasm and willingness are familiarity with Mircrosoft Publisher, Word and Excel.If you think this is something that you would like to do and are familiar with these Microsoft programmes then please contact David for further information. 5)  MAN OF THE MATCH AWARD ADMINISTRATOR
The "Ramble Inn" Man of the Match awards will run again this season but at present there is nobody in place to administer this initiative. All the administrator will need to do is allocate a match to the applicants, inform the Programme Editor who the MoM Sponsor will be in good time for Press Day, collect and account for the cash involved and organise the MoM and the Sponsor together after the match in the bar for the presentation.
