I agree with you and Evthedog but with respect neither of you are able or wish to attend anymore and will not until Atkins leaves the building, some chance.

For some strange reason i  would still like to spend my Saturday afternoons along with Stefan and a few others following the team i have supported for over 60 years

I have sympathy with Jamie it seems an impossible task but when he signs another defender this week and we have no forwards of any note i find this strange.

We have played four competitive matches and scored three goals all coming in one match.
Of those two came from defenders and one was a penalty.
Now i know Shay saved our blushes last year and papered over shortcomings in that area but unless we find someone to find the net once in a while we are going to be in serious trouble.

 

Thanks Eve a bit out of date as that happened a couple of months ago as reported on the podcast.

A month ago i was speaking to the person next to me who i had not seen before and he was asking about Shay and his goal scoring record .I agreed it was very good but said i did not think he was not available to play every game. He then proceeded to say that he was a scout for Carshalton, and produced a comprehensive list of some of our players whom he was looking at.
Beware tomorrow night he may still be interested, well in one anyway.
