This years Supporters Club player of the season forms will be available for the last three remaining home games.
Please pick them up from either Dave Irons or from the club shop.... Cheers.

Youre not having much luck are you Maarlon, what with the change of the final date, and now player of the season.
Why can you not arrange with someone to vote on your behalf, glad to help if acceptable.

Final date outweighs this by a mile - I'm hoping one vote won't be a difference.

Either Bash or Knocky for me Gary. But to be fair their are several others who I could choose.

It seems a bit odd that a 30 goal striker isn't a shoe in for the player of the year! But I think Bash was very consistent earlier in the season although he probably hasn't been so influential in the last couple of months. And I agree that Knock could be an outside chance. I know he's not everyone's cup of tea but he has been very solid even though he has been shifted regularly between full back, centre back and midfield.

Summers would have been my vote - nothing gets past 30 goals in a season for me, we should cherish these players you don't get them every season!!

I'm going to go wth Dan Summers as scoring a goal is the most difficault job in football. Other aspects of his game really gives me the hump but nobody else in the squad stands out for me.

I feel the player of the season should have two atributes, consistencey over the whole season, and a willingness to dig in when the game is tough, for me both Bash and Knocky have them and I find it very hard to separate them both, it could even come down to the last game, ie. the final because if one of them scores the winning goal then it will be a no brainer.
On another tack, when was the last season when there were so many players worthy of this accolade that did not stand between the sticks, several years for my money at least, what a good position for the club to be in.

I was waiting for somebody to mention the number of headers Dan won on Saturday.
That has certainly been a major improvement in his game.

Although it is not often we see so many balls played up to him in the air from the keeper.
Normally teams allow us to bring the ball out from the back, sit back and then press once it reaches the half way line.
Leafe decided on a different tactic with their centre forward and two wide midfielders pushing up to stop the easy pass from keeper to defender, requiring us to play more long balls forward.

What about David Graves?
Solid & dependable and, as we play at the moment, responsible for carrying the ball out of defense and then distributing.

I think I'm right in saying that, despite the goals of Summers and Sawyer, the bulk of the weekly MOM awards have been shared between Nathan Gordon and the now departed Tom Jelly.

' The Beast ', Nathan, Bash, in that order. Worst game ? while ' the shame of Easter Monday ' as AlanJ put it, is fresh in the memory I'd just like to remind everyone who was there about Ramsgate away or ' the frustration of September 6th ' if you like. This was the game that spawned the quote from Dave Irons '' We'll be taking short penalties next !'' after we played a short free kick from 45 yards out with two and a half seconds of stoppage time remaining and a goal down ( even the short free kick went straight to one of theirs ) all this after each of our short corners failed to result in a delivery into the box. I'd have pulled my hair out if I'd had any

Best game of the season ? There isn't even a debate about it is there ?

Goal of the season.....It's coming up on Saturday so don't miss it whatever you do !!

The "worst game" category isn't that straight forward really. Although we've seen a lot of very disappointing performances, we have only had one 3 goal beating in the league.
