T&M Supporters Ground Renovation - 30th June / 1st July

Tooting & Mitcham Supporters
Ground Renovation Party

Tuesday 30th June and Wednesday 1st July
Work starts at 9am and ends 4pm both days

Most of you will be aware that every club at our level needs their supporters help to ensure the ground is ready for the new season.
AFC do it.  Sutton do it.  Every club has to do it.

And Tooting have been doing this under Lyn Catchpole's guidance for a good few years now.  Sometimes with Schools work experience children and sometimes with just the stewards and a few volunteers from the Members club.         Did you know that?  Perhaps not.

As you must have noticed Imperial Fields is starting to show its age and needs work to ensure both the comfort and safety of all spectators.
This is your club and your club needs you!

Young and old are invited to lend a hand. However we have an absolute commitment that those youngsters on work experience will be supervised and overseen by adults while they are with us.   So we need you to come along.
Hopefully for a full day or more but even if you can only devote a morning or an afternoon, that would be very helpful.

So what is going to be involved:
-           Painting of safety markings
-           General repairs
-          Washing of the Stewards hut and the stand seating.
Every seat in the stand needs to be tested for safety.   How?    By sitting on it!
-           Repairs to terrace fencing

Can you help?
Can you come down with a fellow supporter/family member and work together?
No experience is needed

If so, please see Lyn at the Horsham game or email her on:

I'm genuinely worried about DeePee, he hasn't been on here volunteering to jetwash the terraces yet.

He's not dead is he ? He normally goes on about jetwashing the terraces as much as ' You know who ' goes on about ' That lot ' from ' You know where '

Oh very witty Harry, very droll. That's not your missus in the Dulwich Hamlet pink slacks, fleece top and baggy cap just over my right shoulder is it ?
