We none of us know what the conditions of Craig`s contract were, but for a part time job it appears a lot was expected of him, and at the end of the day if somebody is not given the correct tools for the job combined with the right back up, how can you expect success.
It makes for very sad reading, let`s face it if Merstham can do it then so should we.
If we are to progress up the league, which we know Steve has aspirations to do, perhaps this is an area that requires addressing.

Alan, the reason that Merstham have done it is because Hayden knows the type of players that can give him & what the club wants & that was promotion. Lets be fair I dont think there budget was that much higher than ours, & having spoken to their chairman the budget wont increase unless they get a decent sponsor/s.

Could not agree more geoff, but it brings me back to "you can`t buy experience" so we go for another rookie?

How long did Hayden have at Merstham before he got promotion? what was the budget at Merstahm? what was ours? until we know dont suppose we can compare . But I would say it seems to prove that consistency helps . Cant believe Craig had to pick up and get the kit to the ground ?
