On Saturday 18th August 2012 we began our season with a rookie manager at this level Roberto Forzoni at the helm (for Roberto Forzoni read Frank Wilson). His number 2 was the more experienced Jamie Martin (for Jamie Martin read Mark Hams). Our first game was in the blistering heat of Herne Bay (for Herne Bay read East Grinstead) where we triumphed 1-0 (for 1-0 read 2-1). There then followed a series of crap results and piss-poor performances (for then read now). We then received a 5 goal beating at Hythe Town and Roberto was politely asked to relinquish his position (for politely asked to relinquish his position read unceremoniously booted out) by an impatient owner and benefactor Steve Adkins (for Steve Adkins read Steve Adkins). Should we be on the wrong end of a thumping tonight (God forbid) I think the ice Frank will be skating on will be of the 'thin' variety.

Roberto lasted from 18/8/2012 until 6/10/2012 so he did better than Brian Clough at Leeds United
