That 'tackle' looks every bit as bad on the video as it did at the time. Given that you can make a citizen's arrest in the absence of a Copper if you witness an assault of that nature in the street, why can't you enter the field of play and issue a citizen's red card in the absence of a referee with any backbone ? I'd have been first over the perimeter fence that night brandishing my imaginary red card whilst uttering the words " It's an early bath for you Rozzer, you dirty c*** "
