Attendances
As we know Adkins couldnt give a damn about the footballing side . But I bet he would have an eye on the kerching on the gate receipts . Anyone know if the attendances are up or down on last year or even 3 years ago .

Its difficult to judge exactly as attendances are partly dependent on away fans. But we are definitely down on home fans. I would say that we could be as much as 50 light behind the goal compared to when we're doing well.

OK - the facts are thus :--
1) Taking in to account an equal amount of home matches played. ( i.e. the first 9 of each season)
2014/15 = 1,685
2015/16 = 1,707
2) Taking in to account the number of home matches played up to tomorrow evening.
2014/15 = 1,685 (9 home matches played)
2015/16 = 2,527 (11 home matches played)
Therefore crowds are UP this year. 
I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left !

DeePee, not trying to be contentious, but do the numbers also include free entries.
I think we are struggling just like any lower league club, attendances appear to have gone down throughout the leagues, and that is not because the product is not any good, because I feel the overall experience is far better than the higher divisions, but children, who are the lifeblood of the future, are brainwashed into thinking that the "Premiership" is the be all and end all of football.
I wonder how many children in Anthonys school are even aware of the local clubs, this seems to be an area that more should be done to sell the product, but that is up to the powers that be!

No idea on the "freebies" front Al.
Those are the officially published figures taken from the turnstyles. I think (and I will check) that it only includes paid admission from the til roll.

All those that go through the turnstile are counted in the attendance but those who go in through the main entrance are not. This can sometimes be Officials, press etc.
