Only time will tell if the "new" team will be more succcessful than the "old" team. It sounds like it was an improved performance against South Park - but obviously still no points to show for it. Taken in isolation, probably not a terrible day - but in our situation its yet another pointless day.
I wonder if the new players are being handpicked by the manager to form part of a team strategy or is it just a scattergun approach where he hopes to stumble upon a successful formula. With the big influx, I haven't had time to check, but does anyone know if any of the new boys have been involved in a successful Ryman League promotion winning team before or are they just another selection of journeyman players.
Either way, I'd like to know which of the omitted players have simply been dropped and which ones have actually been released. I'm not holding my breath for an answer to that one.

Have to say "Endo" they all aquitted them selves very well, just a little concerned over one of the new addition`s.
Looking forward to tonight when hopefully thing`s, after Saturday when after twenty minutes they started to look more like a team, we might even get the result we are all looking for.
Shame Jamie will not be there to show them what they had lost.

Well, having seen for myself - the new players all did well. I really though that O'Neill looked a step above anyone else on the park. Its a shame he is only on loan. If I was Frank I would do my utmost to prevent another Murphy-McVey situation there. I know its a bit sacrilegious, but I can see a bit of the Ronnie Howell in him.
And a word about Moraes - to see him really attacking the ball in the air at the back reminded me of when Thommo was here. A definite asset in this division.
I'm looking forward to see if we can build on the Casuals game - hopefully it wasn't just a bad night for Casuals.

I think the reason for their not being able to play was due to our relentless closing down whenever we lost the ball, and that was all over the pitch.
We played at a high tempo which appeared to suit us, our passing was greatly improved, and our overall performance was an improvement upon Saturday.
The need now is to keep it up on a more permanent basis and if we do we will soon move up the table.
Congratulations on both the result and the performance must go to the management team, it certainly has not been the easiest of starts but let us hope we can now move forward.

I agree with you Alan. Personally I was not over the moon with the result because I feel Jamie Byatt was treated very badly. He was never a striker that plays there on his own, he needed someone with, probably the management have'nt thought that far in advance

Endo, you might be interested to learn that I introduced Adriano to our forum at the gym last evening. He was flattered by your generous appraisal and particularly pleased with the comparison to Thommo who he described as the best centre half he has ever played with. He said he learned more from playing with Thommo in 5 or 6 games than he's learned from anybody. When I told him somebody had posted something nice about him on the forum he said "Oh, I've heard about this forum, it's quite famous isn't it ? Can anyone post on there"
So I suggest no more schoolboyish banter about you know who, OK.
