Another Cup exit

Having now been kicked out of the Surrey Senior Cup for fielding an ineligible player should we also withdraw from the London Senior Cup - just in case?

Re: Another Cup exit

We weren't kicked out Paul - we withdrew (before they could kick us out) !
Subtle difference but same result !

I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left !

I think we kicked ourselves out.

Re: Another Cup exit

Somebody certainly needs kicking, is it not bad enough that the faithfull supporters who were going tonight have been let down, but what about the players, I would imagine that the lure  of silverware for all the hard work put in during the season was very much on their minds and to have the opportunity taken away AGAIN!
is going to be a bitter pill to swallow.

Re: Another Cup exit

According to the London FA website, Harow Borough beat Beckenham Town 16-3 tonight so will be our opponents in the quarter final of that one

Re: Another Cup exit

You read the attendance figures Tim, there were 16 Harrow supporters and 3 from Beckenham Their largest away following since the Boxing Day Derby against Bromley in 1972 when more than a dozen travelled.

Re: Another Cup exit

came away from the south park game on Saturday thinking maybe we had started to turn a corner only to be totally deflated to see we were out of another cup because of another ineligible player.what a car crash of a football club we are! no wonder our support continues to decline.the problem as I see it is the people at the top who run the club are total amateurs, and what is worse don't have much interest in the football anyway.
I am not referring to any volunteers here who all do a great job its the people who just see the football club as a sideshow who are to blame, and they know who they are they obviously just don't care.not only do I feel sorry for anybody who went to whytleafe not knowing, but also the players who would love the chance of a bit of silverware at the end of the season they must be gutted
