The match finished 8-8 and the 'Players' won the penalty shoot out. The 2 best players on view were Simmo for the 'players' and Michelle for the 'Supporters' and I'm not even kidding. It turns out she's played for AFC Wimbledon and Chelsea Ladies and her first touch was to turn Gavin Quintyne inside out, after that she was showboating with flicks, step overs, drag backs, back heels.....I won't mention her chest control cos I'll only get myself in trouble.
I missed the awards but I heard Jake Baxter won the 'Player's player' and the 'Manager's player' of the season.
Nice afternoon in the watery sunshine, it's the first time I've been to one of these charity games but it certainly won't be the last.
