New 5th Division?
I see that the football league have proposed a new 5th division. Its not just the adoption of the Conference into the football league though. Its actually about creating 5 divisions of 20 teams which would mean an additional 8 clubs to join the league.
The Football League claim that there are "clear benefits for everyone" although some clubs such as Bradford and Accrington say that they would lose money from the reduced amount of home games. I'm not quite sure what the benefit would be.
