    Chace signs for Bishops Stortford

    Massive shame from my point of view, but deep down, I didn't think we'd start the season with him.  On the other hand, we did have a couple of our best performances of the year without him - Dorking at home and the final against Hendon.

    A couple of our worst ones aswell, Guernsey away and Worthing away.

    I would like to think we are not just a one man team, admitted he was certainly very good, too good for this level, so good luck to him  and I hope it works out well for him.
    A chance now for somebody to step up and stake a claim for his place.

    We ought to stop voting for our best players in the Player of the Season Ballot.  I think we have lost Vines, Behcet, Butler and Drage over the last few years.

    Next time I'm voting for Charlie Emery.

    Look at least it's early enough for us to go for other players.Imagine him going a week before season opener.Its a big jump up for him,and I send him best wishes.Better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all.

    Sad to see him go but good Luck to Chase at Stortford and thanks for the memories!

    Can't blame him for going to a club in the Vanarama South, he's far to good for the Ryman South.
