The last time we were top...
Was following one of the best away trips in the last decade. Worthing away in January 2008 when we won 4-3 and our away crowd were probably at their peak. Byatt scored twice and the Vines got our third, but was then sent off for a shirt-off celebration. But there was still time for Romuald Bouadji to break away over the hill and score the winner.
I think Dover overtook us a few days later, and we couldn't catch them, ending up 2nd.
