Hythe 1 Terrors 1. FT
I'll take that for starters!! Sawyer with our equaliser in the second half after going behind to an early penalty. Sounds like it was pretty encouraging.

He was my man if the match, he never stopped running and was a constant problem for the Hythe defenders. Sol had another good game also, their no.2 would have been glad of the final whistle as Sol ran him ragged. Overall a very good result and with a bit more luck it could have been, and possibly should have been, three points. The Terrors outplayed them for most of the game and the majority of the play being in the Hythe half, Hythe reminded me a little of Billericay, big lads, who put themselves about, and their idea of playing, football was to hoof it out hoping the forwards will latch on to it, whereas Tooting played the ball very competently on the floor with every one looking for a pass, if one was on. Overall a very good start to the season against one of the divisions favourites.
