Charlie ten-Grotenhuis leaves
His loan period is up and is going back to Hampton. A shame for us, as he has looked better in every game he's played. I'm not usually a fan of loan signings as I feel that they normally don't really want to be playing at a lower level and can't wait to get back to their team. But I thought Charlie gave us 100%.
His replacement is "utility defender" Josh Barker who has joined on loan/work experience from Doncaster. He is 18 and has played for Spalding and Lincoln this season.

I really liked Charlie, thought he gave us a real presence.
On the other hand, it was his slip/error/cock up/lapse in concentration that let in Chipstead for their consolation on Saturday.

Chace was also a loan move initially wasn't he, from Staines? Look where that lead....
Was a big fan of Charlie TG, thought he did wonderfully and gave us real height in midfield and at the back.
