Just heard this for the first time, what a tune to enter the pitch to, imagine the Bog End in full voice with this, surely we have got to have this as our song when coming out of the tunnel.
What about it Frank! surely a song that will galvanise the fans.
Well done Lee, all credit to you.

Guessing this is Lee the Mod? Well, I recall discussing with him (amongst other things, mainly being Sham 69, Cockney Rejects and Roi Pearce of the Last Resort) that there was a Tooting song in the pipeline. Where can this be found? Remember not all of us are social media magnets (the most into that I get is here - no Faceberk, Twatter or anything else in Plumpyland), but would love to hear

Unfortunately Plumpton my computer skills do not run to adding links but you are right it is Lee the mod and you would need to go to the Paul Piggot site and an icon is on there.
Good luck, you will not be disappointed.

Yes! Listening to it now.........this is excellent work - South London's pride, Wandle and Figges Marshes, Sandy Lane and the memories - what a chorus! This definitely needs to be played at the ground. It's even got Tooting Tim at the end!
Well done to the Super T's......I tried to do a link myself, but half of it didn't link properly and the bit that did work redirected to a broken page. But wow - going to play it again now

There's a few cd's doing the rounds. The Ballad of Sandy Lane is a belter as well. Brought a smile to my face and a tear to my eye.

Had it playing in the car and the Mrs approved of it so it must be good. Well done Lee the Mod! Encore perhaps? She's now kidnapped my copy

The "playing at the ground" request was made to Tim but unfortunately Frank chose our present music and I think it might be a problem to change it, but if enough of us talk to him, starting Saturday, hopefully it might swing it, what could also help is singing it on the terraces in a shortened form again, starting this Saturday.
So come on guys " lets be avin ya!"

Love it. Well done Lee. But rather than being played as the team's run onto the pitch I think it would work better earlier in the pre-match build-up (like The Proclaimers' 500 miles which is played 10 minutes before kick-off at Hibs' home matches) or at half time (like The Clash's London Calling at Fulham).
Oh...and print the lyrics in the match programme so we can all join in.

Can't wait to hear this tune as the Terrors run on to this pitch this Saturday, and will the bog end faithful be singing along led by "Mr "Bog End Tim" on traffic cone?

Excellent idea Mr Tartan - will attempt to get a transcript available soon

DeePee I was going to attempt to type something up today/ tomorrow ready for Saturday, ready for the big "Sing in" and give them out at the ground.
Just off to get the larynx sorted out.

That's what we're all wondering Ashtree
My copy of 'The Super T's' CD has got 2 bonus tracks, 'Greasy Chip Butty' and 'It's a long way to bleedin' Guernsey'. 'Greasy Chip Butty' is an adaption of an existing terrace chant by Sheffield United fans to the tune of John Denver's ' You fill up my senses' it goes........
You fill up my senses, like a night out in Tooting,
Like a pint of Young's bitter,
And a stroll on Figges Marsh,
Like a greasy chip butty, or a strawberry trifle,
We're Tooting and Mitcham, and we're on the march. *
You fill up my senses like a goal up the Bog End,
Like the seven past Dulwich,
And the previous SIX !
Like a greasy chip butty, or a strawberry trifle,
We're Tooting and Mitcham, and we're on the march !!!
The good news is I've commissioned the sculpting of a bust of Frank Wilson to be put in the reception area at the KNK. The bad news is I've asked the bloke who did the one of Christiano Ronaldo at Madiera Airport to do it.
Like you AndyMc 'The Ballad Of Sandy Lane' brought a lump to my throat, we must be the emotional type.

If we have the means to give it an airing (or two) on Saturday then we will

Nah......that's not bad Boggsie me old kipper. That Ronaldo one gave me a bloody good laugh yesterday! Wonder how Frank would turn out......Shymon? Fretters? Statto?
To be honest I got the emotional thing a little bit just hearing about Wandle River, Figges Marshes and Sandy Lane! When I first heard it, it was a proper 'ahhhhh' moment - really excellent tribute to the club, well done Super T's

Brilliant, thanks Mr. Tim. Hoping I can hear it, Mrs. P has thrown a big spanner in the works, she wants to go to a fireplace shop in Seven Kings tomorrow afternoon , I'll have to see if she can alter her plans.........

And ' It's a long way to bleedin' Guernsey' goes.........
It's a long way to bleedin' Guernsey,
It's a long way to go,
It's a long way to bleedin' Guernsey,
To see the greatest team I know,
Goodbye Tooting Broadway,
Farewell Mitcham Green,
It's a long long way to bleedin' Guernsey,
To see the best team there's ever been.
I've been reliably informed that providing there's a CD player on the supporters coach to Ramsgate then the Super T's will be played repeatedly until everyone knows all the words.

Brilliant to hear it played before the team's ran out today. Well done to all involved.

'The Ballad Of Sandy Lane'
Actually I was thinking this may be a good one for more people to hear - and remember. This month marks the 15th anniversary of the last Sandy Lane game, so seems appropriate.
It also dawned on me earlier this this season marks the 60 year mark being in the Isthmian League (trust me to realise near the end of the season though), time to change my sig...........

Hopefully the club will now continue to play it and it might resonate with a few more supporters, I only heard Tim and myself attempting to sing, but this is early days and it can only get better, can`t it!
