Has left to join Tonbridge Angels on an eighteen month contract.
Well that was short and sweet!
Shame but that is non league football I suppose.
I suppose that answers the question for Frank and Paul, " where do we play Sol Patterson Bonner" when fit.

What a shame.I suppose we couldn't compete with an 18 month contract and presumably an increase in wages.
Its such a disappointing loss as we've been looking for a proper right back for so long, only to lose him after just a couple of games.
I suppose we could look at Sam Flegg at right back. I think he was describes as a utility defender.

Feels quite harsh to dig Quincy out like he does in that article.
But guess he knows the players much better than me and when he is getting 100% from them and not.
An interesting approach to go public with his criticism though. Second occasion...did it about Chace on twitter as well.
But in Frank we trust!
I do sometimes think it must be hard if an opposing player is significantly taller than you. For example the centre back from Billericay was absolutely massive, the guy who scored 2 when we were previously 1-0 up. Part of me thinks given his height advantage over everyone, if he really wants to get up and head a ball, he will, and it will be difficult to stop him beyond feeble attempts to get in his way. But anyway, just a thought.
We were poor against Burgess.
Gutted to lose Jelley. Money talks

We used to have a centre half called Ralph Cowan who was as tall as a floodlight pylon, I never saw him lose an aerial challenge. He would always come up for corners and stand around the penalty spot.......and we would take a short one. Never understood why and never will

Personally speaking I never like to see a player shamed in public, even if, reading between the lines, he has done this before, that kind of criticism is best left in the dressing room.
But hopefully Quincy, who on the whole has had a good season so far, will learn from the roasting and be all the better for it, or it might have a negative effect, tomorrow should give us an indication.

Think he's just had a baby so when a contract like that comes along of apparently mega money and security of an 18 month contract he'd be silly to turn it down for the security for his family!

When you consider the short length of time for a footballer to ply his trade, and the obligation to his family to provide a suitable standard of living for them, surely it is understandable when a better offer comes in for him to accept it.
Nothing wrong in wishing to improve your standard of living, in my book, after all is that what the man of the house should aspire to do.
Sorry to see you go Tom, but perfectly understandable.

Call me old fashioned Gary, which I know I am but I have always believed, and carried out my life accordingly that the man is the breadwinner and it is the wife`s job to look after the home and his needs.
This line of thought and action has worked well for me for over 52 years so I do not see any reason for it to not work for other`s.
I know it is a chauvinistic line of thought and action but I will never change it.
Do not start me on a female prime minister especially the specimen we have at present.
