    Cyrille Regis

    I see Cyrille passed away today.  He was one of the first players that I saw at our level move to the 1st division and on the England.  I actually only saw him play for about 20 mins away to Hayes.  He was already a name to watch by then, so I had my eye on him.  He had a quiet game but had an influence midway through the first half.  He went down under an innocuous challenge in midfield but need treatment after crashing down onto the icy surface.  His injury prompted the ref to abandon the game!

    Was that at Molesey endo, I understand it was the Molesey chairman who spotted him playing Sunday football.
    What a shame! such a young age.

    Sorry I should have said, was he playing for Molesey.
