Halfway point in the season

Considering we have a new, rookie manager, and that we didn't exactly get off to a flyer, I think I'm fairly happy with our position - which is 7th with a game in hand.  And if you look at the form guide, we are either 5th or 2nd depending on how many games you go back.  So well placed to challenge for a play off spot.

And we have been picking up wins - just 1 defeat in 12 I think.

So regardless of whether we think the manager has been making poor selections or poor substitutions, we are still getting over the line, which, after all, is the main thing.

Re: Halfway point in the season

Well put "Endo". At the start of the season I would have been quite happy with a mid table finish, which I must say in the early part seemed optimistic, but as the season progressed, especially after Egham I saw no reason to expect anything less than a playoff spot.
This coming Saturday will be a good test, bearing in mind when we played them at their place we played the best part of the game with ten men, Danny having been sent off.
So who knows what this coming Saturday will bring?
