Today was one of those games that make the mediocre ones pale into insignificance.
The "Terrors" once again showed their resolute side, at the start of each half for approximately what seemed a lifetime but was probably fifteen minutes each time, Ware bombarded our goal and it appeared just a matter of time before they would score, but with the players just as determined to stop them from doing so by using up a big slice of luck combined with a willingness to throw them selves in the way of the ball, even if at times it appeared a little painful, our goal stood unbreached.
The same pattern was followed each half after the initial bombardment, the "Terrors" gradually worked themselves into the game and were holding their own.
Fortunately this game did not follow the same pattern as that of our home game, with "Ware" trying to play football instead of trying to kick us off the pitch, it is such a pity that they feel the need some times to resort to "bully boy" tactics as they can and indeed did play some fine attacking football and caused many a sharp intake of breath from the faithfull who had turned up to see this spectacle.
Upon reflection the 2-2 scoreline was the correct result as neither team deserved to lose what was a very entertaining game.
So now we look forward to the next game at home to "Westfield", one where we must avenge the away result earlier in the season if we are to gain one of the play-off positions.
Thinking back to the start of the season, who would have thought we would have been in this position, and playing such attractive football, the credit for which must go to Cornelius and Ashley, you have certainly proved us doubting Thomas`s wrong, well done to you both.

A fair assessment of the game Alanj, but it was more like 35 minutes of first half pressure and quick passing from "The Wolves of Ware" showing they can play some good football. Somehow we were only one down by the time Leon Lalor-Dell scored two quick goals. I must say the quality of all four goals were very good.
I also like to praise AB and CN for their in game management after the shaky start, and also the whole team for yet another pleasing away performance.
