Well we went out with a bit of a whimper last night.  Plod set up with a very solid back division and we were unable to benefit from quite a lot of possession in midfield.  We were limited to a number of long range efforts.  On the odd occasion when we got the ball forward on the wings, our delivery wasn't up to scratch.

And while Plod had a solid defence, they also had a couple of pacy outlets which kept our defence pushed back.  And I felt that our central midfield played too deep for most of the game.  The 2 Police goals game from pretty poor errors from our boys, but once they had the lead, they managed it really well and never really looked in any trouble.

So a pretty disappointing end to a pretty decent second half of the season.  Until last night we had only failed to find the net once in our last 36 games!  Reminded me a bit of our play off defeat against Hastings when we were playing brilliantly all season, only to not turn up on the big day.
