Good win last night against a side that had only 2 league defeats all season.  The big question is can some of them progress to the 1st team.  We will need some.  Jones is obviously leaving and I reckon Morgan-Griffiths might be off as well.

But moving into senior football is not as simple as all that - a lot of factors have to fall into place.  Presumably, all the players have the skill and talent, but will they be able to take the additional pressure of the first team and the opposition supporters etc.  They will also need to have a certain physicality - not many slight players will do well in our division.  Then of course, as they get a bit older, other factors come into play such as work and family.

We had a fantastic youth team that were thrashing teams week in week out and went a long way in the FA youth cup in the early 2000s, but only 2 of them carved out decent non-league careers - Tanner and Husband.

But hopefully this management team can bring a few through and blend them in with the existing squad and perhaps 1 or 2 new experienced players in the key positions
