Although still in the relegation mix, Tooting should survive this awful season! As we all know the current management and coaching team will all be given next season to prove how good they are! The complexities of promotion and relegation in the Isthmian League make all leagues a lottery. Promotion from the Isthmian league level 4 will require winning our section outright to guarantee promotion. Bracknell Town have paved the way this season losing only 2 games so far. Tooting will have to replicate Bracknell’s performance to have any chance of promotion. The amount of change required within the club to achieve this target is enormous! Is there any commitment to this, or do they now spend at least another season languishing in the lower depths of Non-League Football, or is the Football team still remain a non-entity within Tooting and Mitcham Sports and Leisure?
