Our agent reports that an ex experienced Tooting player has been approached by the owner of the club for a managerial position. But the offer at this time has been declined due to the requirements he wants  before leaving his  current club. He loves Tooting and stated he would return tomorrow! He also understands that if his demands are met, there is a possibility of more experienced strikers would return.

This beg the question why is being taken now when our competitive matches are to commence. The loss of the valuable pre- season period is a complete waste of time. 

Also, who really would want to come to a club with a structure which has destroyed some really good management and playing staff since 2005? 

Another ex-Tooting player who is now a manager asked “ Why are Tooting so bad, they are the laughing stock of non-league football.”
