Knocked out in the early stages of the FA Cup and Trophy the only real comps now left to compete are the
 Mickey Mouse Comps, and already knocked out of one in early October. Also, the much-vaunted youth team have been dumped out of the FA Cup at home to Hastings United.   Any fans who travelled to Sevenoaks last night must be a glutton for punishment. Playing for Sevenoaks was our former Striker Frankie Sawyer remember him, and Academy find Lexus Beeden, what could we do with both right now. Remarkable how Beeden has not returned to the club which found him, I wonder why? Yest another decent player who chose not to return!

Sevenoaks are a real and upcoming club, great run in the FA Cup and beat National League South Side Bath City away last Saturday and have earned an away game in the 4th Qualifying round against full time professionals Ebbsfleet, who are the runaway leaders of National League South. They also have unlucky draw again on Saturday, when they visit Lewes in the Trophy. I wish them the best of luck in both games.
They are a wonderful Community club and like most teams it’s built around the 1st Xl, Just look at our miserable set up on  how not build a community club around a disseminated Football team and used as a vehicle to go to bed with Merton Council and raise funds through Sport England.
