Michail Antonio - One of our own

So sad to read about Michail Antonio’s Horrific accident in Epping today (Saturday). He was taken to hospital in central London and is conscious and communicating, and has a suspected broke leg. His car a Ferrari was a total wreck and Michail had to be released by the fire brigade. When you see the damage, you wonder how he got out alive. I recall he had another accident around Christmas time again when he crashed his car in Balham.

Michail a teenager was discovered by Billy Smith and he soon promoted him to the Tooting's first team. I remember him playing the Terrors in most of his appearances, he was soon spotted by Reading, and signed professional forms and moved on to play for some notable Premiership clubs ending up at West Ham where her plays today and is an absolute hero for the fans. He also played for England and Jamaica.

Now 34, Michail may be out for a long time, and hopefully it will not be the end of his playing career?  Along with Paddy Hasty he was a Terror Icon. Michail and his family will be going through a tough time at the moment, and I wish him a speedy recovery to full fitness.
