Stefan, as requested me to post his opinions on this forum
When I first started supporting T&M around 2004 /2005 Ricard Cadette was the manager,
and he played exciting, entertaining football, which continued under Billy Smith and
George Wakeling. They were great times. Now we play boring, dull football, without
passion and enthusiasm (in my personal opinion) so what’s gone wrong ?
I ask myself, why do I sit in the stand watching my team play like they do, often in the
freezing cold, and without a local tea bar as there once was, in the stand I sit.
What enjoyment am I getting for the £10.00 I’m paying, in a league fitted to where we
are in non-league football, and probably where we will finish.
Knocked out in the very earliest round of the FA Cup without a whimper, when it
should be a players and managers dream to focus on getting as far as possible in
this wonderful competition.
Can I see goals coming from the wings, where we once created, or from mid-field
to once recognised strikers.
Can anybody blame me if I just walked away to never return or do I sit and endure
another season of disappointed.
Why does it upset me to see teams like AFC Whyteleafe and Redhill play with
confidence and scoring freely, when my own team struggles in every department on
the pitch to earn a point or three. However, credit to them. They are there for a good
reasons, and deserve to be there on merit alone.
We were a great club, but not anymore. Great clubs at least fix the men’s toilets
when they need repairing. But not us, that’s why we are going down the pan unless
by some miracle, the man at the top wants more then he is seeing, but then is he
watching or does he want football at Imperial Fields . Only he knows, but me, I’m
one lemming who refuses to jump over the cliff and prefers to walk away and live
another day. Something needs to change and for the better, as it needs to change
fast before more supporters walk the walk and turn their back on this once great club,
I haven’t yet, just reflecting on the too many good memories and the past players
that once represented this great club, hoping that those in charge will see the light
and see what the supporters seeing every week, football that’s worthy of the
division we are in unfortunately, and probably not worth the 10 tenner or fiver it
costs to endure 90 minutes of football at Imperial Fields, and without a proper
tea bar at the stand where I sit either. Will things ever change. I think you know the
answer.

Can any supporter put their hand on their heart and say that the way that the club is currently being run will advance the club back up the league ladder?
