STEFAN REPORTS ON BALHAM GAME

We huffed and we puffed but we could not blow them down !!!!!!

This was a match that we should have won, against an average Balham side who were there for the taking,
but no, we let it slip by, believing we had 3 points in the bag. Balham pressed and the result was an equalising goal. A goal that we should have never conceded with
only a few minutes remaining.

When are we going to learn how to take affective corners and freekicks. Accuracy is everything and you
only have to look at one Premiership side to see what happens when you get it right. Based upon this result alone, we are going to struggle to get into the play offs unless things change and
change quickly.

I was disappointed with Alex Cruickshank performance on the pitch today, despite a very good goal. However, Jordy Ndozid put in another fine performance as our No. 8.

We should have won this match. The players knew it and more importantly the supporters who were
there to bear witness knew it. A poor performance by Tooting standards.  But what are Tooting standards ?
Too much change can upset the team performance, and it was evident today, that if certain players
came into the match earlier, and I thinking of Tariq Mahmoud our No.14) who looked up for it and contributed
for our goal, the result may have been different.

We need a self-belief that Tooting & Mitcham is a side that can progress further, but each player needs to
believe in that and show it on the pitch if only to satisfy the supporters desire for success on the pitch.
