Confidence is everything, and watching yesterday’s home match against E&C , I do feel that our young footballers
should look to themselves and believe that they have the skills to take players on and to create opportunities for
their fellow teammates.
 
A great example is Max Oldham, who pointed the way and covered every blade of grass on the pitch. I think most
supporters were waiting for Freddie Jones to make an appearance but to no avail on this occasion.
Maybe Tuesday.  However, the squad is slowly making progress and going in the right direction.
 
Good performances all round with a nice balance between experience and youth will eventually prove fruitful
and hopefully the goals will come, but don’t dismiss the qualities of a natural No. 9 and what they can bring to
the table. Without goals, we may struggle to hold a play off place and that must be our priority for the
second half of the season.  However, the young lads did well yesterday, so continue to believe in your abilities
and play with confidence!
