Stefan's Comments on last nights dramatic win during time added on

Tonight’s match was for the manager and staff.  
 
Grit and determination and two goals clinched 3 points for a hard-working T&M side against
a resilient Redhill side that defended solidly and where they were unlucky not to get a point.
 
Tooting just could not find a way through a well defended defence, and unfortunately
went unexpectedly 1-0 down via an awarded penalty for a handball.  
 
However, persistency to the end paid dividends for a T&M side that wanted it more, and it showed
on the pitch. To a man, they played to a level I haven’t seen this season but found it difficult to find
the net, until the very end and into extra time.
 
Great individual performances, but it will be unfair and difficult to single out a player.
It was a team performance for our manager and his team, the supporters who turned out on a wet
and windy night but more importantly for the players themselves.
 
They achieved what they set out to do. To earn three points for their team.
To give us that opportunity for a playoff place, as we near the finishing line.  
 
The team is gathering steam and on this performance with good home support this coming Saturday,
they will give everything. That I have no doubt, as confidence is high, so let’s get behind them and
give them the support they deserve for their recent performances on the pitch.
 
Well done lads. You didn’t disappoint and made a lot of supporters happy with this performance tonight.
