Stefan files his report on the Balham victory

From anybody watching yesterdays match against Balham, our manager JB must have been hurting following
recent defeats, but like a true boxer on the ropes, the manager and team came out fighting and produced
some excellent football. 
 
Changes needed to be made, and for reasons unknown, we have found an attractive forward line with
Elijair Simpson playing as our experience No.9 and Aaron Smith-Joseph our No.11 who speared our attack.
Elijair making attacking runs who wanted it, together with great footwork by Aaron. it was truly a good team
performance all round and with this rejuvenated squad of players, the future looks a little brighter.
 
Based upon yesterday’s performance I see no reason why we can’t creep up the division, now that we have
TK & AJ back.     
 
So, credit to management for getting the team back on track and to our players yesterday for finding belief
within themselves.  Confidence is everything, and if you have players within your squad who want it badly
enough, it will show through to their fellow players, and the supporters s who will then see that on the pitch.
 
Yes, I was happy with what I saw yesterday, and apologies to those I did not mention in my report.
They know who they are and played their part, but the journey continues as we battle back to where our
supporters expect us to be in this division. Top six and nothing else if we are going to strive for promotion
this season.
