There is a Nottingham Forest match cartoon for sale on eBay if anyone is interested. It is cut from a newspaper and not a copy.

Jim Mercer was a great cartoonist, who covered the satirical aspect of Tooting, including players, games, management, officials and even the weather.

Sadly the demise of the local press, would not facilitate such content what remains of the industry. What would our "Jim" make of the Football Club today!

Indeed Mike. He was from Streatham I think, and covered sport in the local area, especially Toots and Streatham Rugby Club.

Strangely though, there is sod all about him on the internet.

I wonder how he would portray our current team?
