Dear Steve

Thank you so much for the amazing generosity of the Tooting and Mitcham United Football Club to the Wandsworth Foodbank. We are very moved by your kindness.

The food donations weighed in at 75.1kg which we estimate will provide 179 meals for local families in crisis.
We are putting the £34.70 towards our Christmas Appeal in which we are raising funds to give each foodbank guest a supermarket gift voucher in December, so that they can chose some fresh food and other essentials at Christmas time.

And finally thank you for the added bonus of the season tickets which have been discussed on numerous occasions in the office and possibly already put into use by the foodbank team.

We are very grateful for your support.

Why wait until after the new year, surely a more advantageous time would be before Christmas.
With funds for the unfortunate people being stretched at this time of the year , and who have a need for food banks, why not another one in December.
I feel sure that the generosity of the Tooting fans will not disappoint.
Should you require somebody to deliver i would be only too pleased.

I have other things in the pipe line that why I said the New Year.... plus the fact I've just started a new job which is taking up much of my time now... If anyone else wants to arrange this then feel free.
