A nice CV. Nothing there whatsoever regarding planned first team progression through the league structure. After all, the first team is what the supporters hand over their hard earned cash for at each home game.
I think you will find "Ev" that any important decisions will still be made by Steve, and I see the position created to release the work load from Steve, more than anything significant to advance the team. Only my opinion.
