On the subject of poor crowds. Saturday v Wingate looked really poor, the official 170 something looked a bit generous, I had it a bit lower than that, but it got me thinking about the Friday night games we had a few years ago, which were considered quite successful at the time but stopped after a couple of games.
After reading a few posts on another fans forum, someone pointed out that Saturdays now are a normal working day for many people. So would Sunday football bring in any extra supporters? I don,t know if this has been tried before at Bostic League level, but Sunday games are normal in other countries,why not here? Now before any of you traditionalists (I count myself as one, by the way), jump down my throat, I would much prefere Saturday games at 3pm, but last weekends crowd was so poor, who could argue against another experiment.
