Well it now looks as if after nearly two seasons at this level of the league pyramid the club has found its niche in the Combined Counties: mid table mediocrity.
Those at the top of the club who make the decisions seem to be happy with the level that the club now seems to have found: not in contention for either promotion or relegation. A great shame for a club that that should be achieving so much more.

Can any supporter put their hand on their heart and say that the way that the club is currently being run will advance the club back up the league ladder?

I will be viewing the T&M official web site on an hourly basis in nail biting anticipation of any changes to the good ship Tooting and Mitcham as it toils across the choppy waters of the Combined Counties ocean dodging 💩 along the way.

Has the ship finally sunk!!!!!!
The Titanic of non league football with Captain Adkins at the wheel telling the band to play on as the ship sinks below the waves whilst Boatswain Byatt try’s his hardest to keep the ship afloat.

No match reports since the 31st August.
No club news since September.
Nothing on whatever happened to get the Spelthorne match abandoned.
What a way to treat supporters who through choice or circumstance do not attend matches. And let us not forget anyone on the lookout for a club to follow: nothing up to date on the club site.

Another game with a huge amount of time added on with a Tadley equaliser right at the end.

Looks more like a good ruck seeing as Spelthorne's "winner" is listed as have being scored in 90+12! I am looking forward to a good report on th incident.

Top of the table; crowds up; and things are looking good for Croydon. Then the manager walks. If only the Chuckle Brothers had done the same at Tooting a few years ago me might not have ended up in this toilet bowl of a division.

Does anyone know if the club is going to be organising anything to celebrate the 20th anniversary of this bold proclamation?

I am another long suffering supporter tearing out what little hair i have. We have no striker who will score us goals at present it was only Shay Brennan who made us look half decent in that area last season. The only recruitments over the last few weeks have been defensive.
He bagged 5 for for table topping Farnham last night.

Ev, absolutely agree with you, Jamie was the fall guy used by Atkins to keep the minions quiet, unfortunately it hasn't worked and poor Jamie is now suffering the consequences. But does any of this make any difference to an ever sinking ship?
No.

I think that it is unfair to lay the blame at Jamie’s door. We all know where the problem with club lies and until there is a change at the very top the club will continue to occupy the void that it currently finds itself in.

And, by the way, my name is Ev. Please get that right.

But get a decent Head Coach who can teach his players how to defend. Hope we can keep Shay Brennan - I think he has scored around 56% of our league goals this season. It would be good to see a "high press" system against teams trying to play out from the back!
Brennan has gone across the Hog's Back to Farnham.

An excellent appraisal of our club.

An update: "But it is the Rams who will be joining them, thanks to some very strong late-season form that saw them storm through from 17th spot in October, when Jermain McGlashan was appointed manager by new owners Stormzy, Wilf Zaha and Danny Young, to be fifth by May, and coming through two tough away from home play-off games."

Congratualtions to our near neighbours on their promtion. Although I do not like the playoff system, it is there and AFC Croydon Athletic did well by winning the final from 5th place in the division.
