If the considerable narrowing of our home pitch is any indication (and I will be asking Mr Tanner about that at a suitable moment) then I don't think we will be seeing anything to be considered a true winger this season.
Keep things tight and don't get roasted on the outside while they all settle in would seem to be the plan.

I'll be there in person with you tonight Endo to cheer the lads on to a first victory this season.
On Saturday Frankie Sawyer was pretty confident of returning to action tonight after being rested with a bit of tightness in a hamstring.
So we should hopefully be quite a bit more of a threat up front.
New ground for me. So I'll be ignoring the tightness in my own hamstrings to get down there early to enjoy a walk down the prom and a paddle in the sea.

3 matches in and still the majority of posts are nothing to do with the football being played. Sad.
Instead we have an almost daily diet of abuse and spite aimed at 'The Club' or 'they'.
'They' presumably being the 100's of full time & highly paid administrators who work for T&M.
Go off and support the Wanderers. Enjoy your football. Be happy. Live long & prosper.
Return this Forum to football folk who want to discuss their football team.
On another subject:
Dee Pee told me on Saturday that he goes in for an op this week and will be missing from us for a short while. How long depending on the size of the keyhole!
Join me in wishing him well and a swift return.
Dave - make sure you draw on a clear diagram showing the bit to be removed. If you leave it to the surgeons you might return to us as a Ladyboy. And we already have Gary Walker.

Did you enjoy the game Mike?
Just wondered as you don't make any mention of it in your posting. Although you seem to have attended the game and purchased a programme but almost with the aim of making yourself even more bitter.
Another pre season win from a team/squad that was dragged together at quite a late stage.
You might consider that quite encouraging.
Come on. Tell us what the game was like. And include a happy face.

Your supposition would be absolutely right Benchy.
Until today I had not even registered for this Forum.
And on doing so today I see that I am one of only 36 Registered Users.
Now that footie is virtually upon us again the postings have largely returned to........footie.
Very refreshing.
Perhaps I should make clear my opinion of the new club bearing the Tooting name:
It must be very painful for any long standing supporters who felt it necessary to walk away from T&M United FC.
I applaud the enterprise of those involved and wish them every success
