I see that Guernsey only lost 2-3 at home to Dover in the FA Cup on Saturday.
Dover not having their best of seasons (12th at the moment) but that still seems a pretty good result.
Hmm, better watch ourselves on Tuesday

Bloody hell. I get back from San Francisco on Tuesday Morning and have to get on the tram to Mitcham in the evening. Life's hard sometimes!

Guuersey may have appeared to be atg home against Dover, but they played the cup tie at Lancing FC.
More of a home game for Dover, which makes th score even more remarkable.
Does anyone know why the game had to be playes at Lancing (Sussex FA) . I assume Guernsey are affiliated to Sussex FA, why did the Football ssociation make this club play at Lancing?

I think refusing to play directly after a rugby match has taken place is fair enough, even if they allowed time for the pitch to be rolled.
Imagine what that would be like if it had rained heavily?
But yes 59er, knowledgable big boys taking all the advantage they could. And still only just scraping through.
