Somewhat fortuitous, but I suppose they all count.
Well done for being their.
But is it an own goal off the Swansea player?

It's not going to win Goal Of The Month is it ?

But it has a good chance of FLUKE of the month buddy!

Dead right there 59er, what I was more impressed by though was he made a tackle at the opposite end near the corner flag, then ran the full length of the pitch to get into the scouser`s box and finish with that bullet header, boy did that please me!
Also his overall game really impressed, many a time he got some important tackles in close, or in his own box, can not see how Bilic can drop him after that performance, his best so far by a country mile.

Bravo !
Every time I saw him on TV for Sheffield Wednesday he was Man Of The Match and nearly every time I saw him for Forest he was brilliant. Great goal yesterday and against Liverpool which made it even more enjoyable

I know you should not gloat, but that goal and the final result made my weekend.

And it's good that our once great club gets a mention in at least one national Sunday newspaper.

True.

A friend has just offered me a spare ticket for tonights Wammers v Spurs game.
So I will hopefully get to see 90 mins of Mr Antonio.
Not been to a Premiership game in many, many years.
As I understand it everyone is allocated a hugely expensive seat but still stands up for 90 mins!
Very strange behaviour.
Do you think they will let me change ends at half time?

No, but I'm sure they'll let you patrol the area next to the dugouts and will be very thankful for your help with replacing the divots at half time.

Is it not ironic, an ex terror has been our one ray of light during this rather mediocre season.
This is one of the few premiership players who is not full of his own self importance, could it be because he has come from the lower leagues, no silver spoon in his youth, and he still has fond memories of the team he played for, and still mentions them during interviews.
Keep it up Michail, show those overpaid, spoonfed prima donna`s how a true sportsman behaves., by never forgetting his roots.
It was mentioned in the bar last Saturday, yes that one which we all wish to forget, that he has a wish, when his top level days are over, to return to the lower leagues, could you imagine the welcome he would receive, hope I can be their to see it.

Well he had a good game but I'm not sure he really deserved a 2nd consecutive MOM award simply for scoring the winning goal (Mark Noble was awesome).
And he finished injured and perhaps looked a little tired.
However....what a scoring record that is.
No wonder the bubble blowing Wammer fans were chanting his name long after the game.
Living the dream. Fantastic.

Like you 59er I heard the mention on 5live "Good old Tooting and Mitcham" one of the co-commentators said.
I texted Dave Irons when Antonio scored thinking it must have been a strange scenario for him, an ex-Terror jeopardising the only realistic title challenge his beloved Y Spurs have mounted in his life. I won't tell you what Dave replied as his language was a bit too colourful even for this forum, suffice to say he wasn't too complimentary about our old prodigy. And I always thought he liked him.
If his goal helps Leicester win the league I'm going to kiss his feet next time I see him
Tooting & Mitcham's all time legends, Paddy Hasty, Michail Antonio, Danny Wood, in that order.......for now.
