Victory at Dorkng? Unbelievable.

So I pay through my not inconsiderable nose to endure an afternoon of abject misery at 2nd placed Worthing.
Then I go off on holiday and.......we wallop 3rd placed Dorking who had just as much to play for.

Great. Thanks lads.

Looking forward to the reports/opinions.

Re: Victory at Dorkng? Unbelievable.

A fairly cagey 1st half. I don't know if we necessarily had the better of the play,  but we did have the best chances including a lovely lob by Baxter that rebounded off the bar.

We opened the scoring from a free kick in the D. No trying to chip it over the wall - Robinson just smashed it along the ground just inside the post. Dorking responded positively but that just left more gaps for us to exploit which we did quite well.  Barrington scored our 2nd witha long distance shot that their keeper will want to forget as it slipped through his body a la Massimo Taibi. Barrington set up man of the match Pykes for the 3rd following another fast moving break. There were a few more chances before both teams seemed resigned to the result and the game meandered to a close.

A good result and a good performance which left a few people scratching their heads over Dorking's lofty league position.
