Change in laws of the game over red cards

An interesting change in the laws of the game about refs having to give a red card if a goal scoring opportunity is denied. Appears that the new law coming into force next season only requires the ref to show red if he deems the foul to have been intentional

So here we go again. How many referees & their assistants will still get things wrong. The FA & FIFA have missed a great opportunity to change & bring in new laws. These guys are as bad as the officials.

I think its a good change. I've always thought that the triple punishment of penalty/red card/suspension is out of proportion when a keeper makes a genuine effort to get the ball but just clips the forwards heels.
