A well deserved win. Roll on next season.

Lovely - sorry I couldn't stay afterwards but family commitments meant I needed to get away. However what a good night - was great to have a lot of old faces and some additional support too. The team was spot on and great to see the players on the pitch after.
Well done Tooting - you've done it - champions!!!!!!

I followed it on retweeted Twitter here in Dubai...nerve racking! Especially as it didn't move for ages beyond saying that Matt Price was sent off on 94.
It's times like this that make me wish I was back at KNK.
Great stuff!!!
Here as always is to next season...but this time as champions of London!!

We were the better team on the night and deserved the win. The extremely soft penalty awarded to us at the end spared us the nervous last few minutes that us long suffering fans know all about.
Great support for the team as well, we really were the '12th man" last night. Can we expect some of the extra fans that turned up for a cup final, to turn up for next seasons league campaign, I hope so.

Yet again this team of ours showed us what they are capable of, a truly stupendous performance by all the players who took part, except one, who I will not name, you know who you are, I have never seen such a high energy performance from the lads before, hurrying to get back behind the ball when we lost it, getting forward when the situation arose, every man worked his socks off, well almost every man!.
For me one player just about shaded it for me and that was Jordan, every time he got close to the box their defenders were clueless as to what to do and appeared scared stiff.
Credit has to be given also for the management team for the way the team was set up and as I said before for the high work rate the players showed, I was concerned that in the second half they might have shown signs of tiring and allow the more physical team to get a hold in the game, but not so they kept up the pace until the final whistle.
One disappointment I felt was the referee, the amount of fouls he allowed to go unpunished, by Hendon, was unforgiveable, but I could not disagree with Matt having to go, both issues required a yellow card, but they also could, and should, have finished with less than eleven on the field, but perhaps being more physical is a requirement in the Premier division.
Well done lads I hope we see you all again next season.

We should remember this day next time people are saying we should put the reserves out, or moaning about travelling to the outer reaches of the northern line for a "tin pot" trophy. It doesn't feel like a Mickey Mouse cup now, does it? And nor did the Dulwich game. And the players are buzzing as well. It's a trophy, and surely that's what football is all about - trying to win trophies!

Think there will be a highlights package of the game up at the weekend.

Is there an open bus tour of the two boroughs planned? Well open pickup truck anyway.
Seriously, though, I am still so excited at the win. I keep telling people here in Dubai about it...but they all seem a tad underwhelmed. Can't think why. Champions of London after all!!!

A great night.Fantastic performance by everybody. Was bit worried at halftime, thought Hendon would go up a gear.let's hope this helps Frank keep the players he wants to keep.the atmosphere was realy good and must help attendance next season.

A really fine, dominating win and a lovely evening (despite the lack of real ale behind the Plod bar)
Very pleased when we got the 2nd goal (i did think that was a valid pen Andy Mc - first contact with ball, second contact with Price legs), especially after the ball had dropped directly on the foot of their striker and he could only blaze over.
It as a close run thing with Jordan and Robbo but my MOM was Kurtis Pykes.
With Chase missing all the (midfield) players had much more ball and he was always available, rarely lost it and used it really well. A bigger role for him next season.
How about a celebration with a few beers down at the club watching Liverpool lift the Europa Cup Final on Wednesday 18th May? (yes, I don't have BT Sport)

That is exactly what Jake B indicated to me after the game 59er. Just how inspiring it was to be attacking a goal with so many of the zebra clad almost sucking the ball towards the goal.
It is a tricky chicken and egg equation:
More fans = more income & player inspiration = greater success (the Dullwits model - err, or perhaps not).
Greater success = more fans = greater success (the Worthing model)

Yeah OK Bondy, sounds like a good idea. Did you know Sevilla's manager is called Unai Emery but as far as I can gather he's no relation to either Charlie or Dick.
Totally agree about Kurtis, great performance.

I think I would rather pull off my finger nails with pliers Bondy, than watch that bunch of scousers lift any cup, even only an egg cup.

I was surprised to see Bash play, but he did really well.I like Thomo and Pykes when they can get further forward.I think Barrington turned up late?Is that correct?Would he been in starting lineup?.
Offline
Yes, Marcel was late (stuck in traffic or something like that) and KP only got there a few minutes before him. The joys of an early kick off at an out of the way ground.

Bondy, I will pop down & have a drink with you on the 18th, providing you will be there. Hopefully there will be others there. Alan, you can always shout for Liverpools opponents, as i will be doing, so pop down & we will have a chat in the process.

The only time Geoff I can watch the scousers is if they are already losing with insufficient time to reverse the result, then I can really enjoy what is left of the game, just can not stand them buddy.
I know it is sad, but I remember their great years when nobody could touch them either in England or Europe, and I have never got over it.
Thank god for Sir Alex.

As a Spurs man, like Mr Bondy, the only way I could cheer on the Scousers in the final is if the Woolwich mob finish fourth in the Prem, which would mean they would miss out on the Champs League if the Scouse lot win the Europa. Don't like either really!!!
I hope that's why you want the Scousers to win, Bondy!!!!

So glad I came back full time this season.I only missed couple of home games,so I'm going in for season ticket.Maybe now I'm old I will get it cheaper? As for away games,I hope I can as many as this season.I think I'm out of work in new year,so money could be an issue.I'm hopeful of a good league campaign. If the majority of that team stay on,and add couple of quality players.Sorry I'm not sure about Serg though?????.
