Don't get your hopes up, but.........
I've just been speaking to Lee Hall and Adam Thompson in the gym, Hally says he is definitely staying at Tooting next season and when I asked Thommo if he could be persuaded to come back he said " Well I'm unattached and I spoke to Frank last season so possibly, hopefully. "
casey, you probably don't know Thommo, he was with us about 4 years ago and he's different gravy mate, top drawer, as good a centre back as you'll see at this level, just the sort of recruitment you were hoping for to strengthen the defence. A centre back pairing of Simmo and Thommo would be quite uncompromising.
Like I said, don't get your hopes up but if anyone knows Frank I'd urge you to persuade him to give Thommo a ring as a matter of some urgency.

So the 2 sides of this Alan Thompson,very good or very past it?maybe somewhere in between.Im sure Frank will have an idea of who he wants.Guess we will be having a few players in pre-season trials.We don't need many new players if most of this squad stay.If?Bound to be a few teams sniffing round Jake and maybe few others.Serg maybe?team player......?

ADAM Thompson did really well for us in the short time he was with us. I don't think I've seen a central defender have such a positive impact on a team. However that was a few years ago and I don't know how much he's played recently. In any case, I think we need a bit more pace and mobility in our defence and I'm not sure Thommo brings that.

Sod you lot. If you saw how much time he spends in the gym all you Adonis like specimens wouldn't be worrying about his physical condition. Adriano Moraes also played in our 3-0 defeat of Carshalton and that didn't stop us signing him and him having a positive impact on the side did it eh ?
