Back in the day when Chelsea used to qualify for the Champions League every season, me and my mates always used to pray we wouldn't drop into the Europa League. In that competition, not only can you meet teams you've never even heard of but you can meet teams from COUNTRIES you've never heard of. Here is a brief selection of sides that played in the Europa League last night....Nomme Kalju, Pandurii Targu Jiu, Torpedo Zhodino. I take my hat off to you if you know where they come from without Googling it !
Talking of places hardly anybody has heard of, I've got to go somewhere on Sunday that's almost completely untouched by human civilisation to pick up some boxes of bathroom tiles........Hackbridge.

I do have to confess to being pleasantly surprised by Hackbridge yesterday. In the warm late July sunshine it reminded me of the sort of place you could imagine a young family from Tilbury saving up their benefit money to spend their summer holiday there.
