We were a bit unlucky against a very impressive well-organised Hythe Town side. Plenty of possession. But hesitant around the box. And too few shots on target.

0-0 might have been a fair score....but 0-2 was the actual score!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE sign a forward who can score 25+ goals a season.

Personally I do not feel neither team were that good today, very average. Neither keeper were worked that hard, not many players of either side impressed. If these teams have ambitions to making the playoffs then they will have to play better than they did today, overall a very disappointing game which I feel neither team deserved to win I expected much more considering the respective positions in the league.
Still one swallow does not make a summer as they say and let us hope that our passing game returns and we can put the last two disappointing results behind us.
One thing I did not understand was why play Ashley Robinson as a left back when Sol can play there and Quincy Rowe was on the bench, unless Quincy was carrying a knock it seemed a strange decision to me and a waste of Robinson`s talent, with him in midfield we may have had more success.

Robinson played right back and I agree with 59robbery, apart from Staines I thought they were the best opposition we have met this season. Matt Price, a centre forward!,I don't think so!

One again, two goals from two unmarked players who only had to tap the ball in. Forward? We need defenders who can mark. We have conceded 20 goals now which is not promotion winning form. The defence needs to be sorted out.

the quality of the ball forward has not been good and yesterday we played more aimless long balls forward than I have seen before. Simmo's pass completion rate must have been less than 50%. He also lofts the ball and that is easier for defenders to defend. When Robinson clips a long ball he hits flatter and it reaches its target much more often.

I know we are conceding goals at a ridiculous rate, but suddenly the forward line looks a bit sterile. And is it coincidence that Danny Bassett hasn't started lately. I know he wasn't scoring, but Roberts and Dunn were. Is he a Heskey type who doesn't score goals himself, but somehow allows other strikers to profit. I remember Heskey often used to be derided by fans for his goal/game ratio, but he was continually picked by many Premier League and England managers.

I think it is more a case of Billy Dunne not playing well the last few games. He is a maverick sort of player and when off colour a passenger. He is a match winner but looks disinterested when things aren't going his way.

I'm also of the belief that taking Danny out of the team has impacted our goals. He might not score so many himself but he runs, closes down and links play very well.
